HOW TO CREATE YOUR SCARECROW

What you will need:

Two sticks or wooden canes
Clothes or costume
Things for decorating and accessorising, such as pipe cleaners for a mouth or moustache, marker pens, wool for hair etc.
Strong string or rope
Newspaper and straw for stuffing
Pillow or bucket for head

How to make your scarecrow:

Tie the sticks or canes in a cross to create the form on which to hang the clothes
Place the clothes over the form, tie the legs and arms and stuff with whatever you have to hand, such as newspaper, old bags, material or straw
Stuff a pillowcase into the size and shape of a face, or alternatively line a bucket with material, fill it with padding and tie at the top
Attach the head to the top of the vertical stick
Decorate as you like!
